Houses is a series of hand-built papier-mâché light objects. The forms borrow from simplified architecture: walls, roofs and windows reduced to a few uneven planes. When switched off, they read as dark sculptural volumes; when lit, the windows turn them into small inhabited spaces. Each piece is made by hand and retains the irregularities of the material.
